Luggage

Packed my luggage and attached it to the bike this morning with a tie down strap and bungie cords.  Took at ride on the highway to see how it fared and it was solid as a rock.  I really don't need the space of that small bag at the back of my seat.  It is there to serve as a backrest for me.  Ahhh...so nice to have a backrest on a long trip.  Also pushes me forward enough to be able to use my highway pegs.  Nice to be able to stretch my legs out now and then.  So tomorrow is the day for bathing the dogs, doing the last bit of laundry and delivering the dogs to my wonderful son and daughter-in-law who will be dog sitting for the next five days.  First time we have ever been on a trip without our furbabies.  Hopefully they will behave and have a good time in a new environment for a few days.
