colorado here we come!

We ride out today around noon with a group of folks from the DFW HOG group headed for New Mexico and Colorado.   Yay!  Cool weather!  This will be our longest bike trip yet.  Big thanks to Freddie and Christi for babysitting our furbabies!  

Jim took delivery of his new 2015 Road Glide Special on June 6 and quickly racked up the 1000 miles for the first service.  We also had them check over mine and things are good to go.  We have double checked all of our lists and believe we have everything we need and probably a few things that we don't.  LOL!  I packed my clothing once and then re-packed again with fewer items.  So easy to take too many pieces of clothing, especially when you have to pack for all temperatures.

I purchased two big waterproof duffle bags at Cabella's.

We are both anxious to go, so much so that we are ready to go an hour early!  LOL!  

Looking forward to new friends, gorgeous scenery, cooler weather, and fun twisty roads to ride.
