Cool this morning, 68 degrees. Rolled down the windows of the truck and enjoyed the wonderful, fresh air all day. About 100 today in Fort Worth we hear. Yuck!
Today was our excursion to Custer state park. Gorgeous day with bright blue skies and a few puffy white clouds. We took the wildlife loop. Here are the animals we saw:
Prong horns
Prairie dogs
Buffalo - we saw hundreds and as you can see they own the place!
A herd of tame, but wild donkeys who loved carrots. Folks brought bags of carrots to temp them closer!
And here are some shots of the gorgeous scenery.
Photos of forests, mountains and streams
Lunch at Sylvan Lake Lodge and photos of the beautiful lake.
May have been our favorite day here!
